How and Why Feng Shui is Beneficial for Anyone and Everyone.

I’m not trying to add to the doom and gloom, but we do need to keep it real. And if this is where so many of us are at in our daily lives, then let’s talk about it in a way that feels productive and quite possibly through a unique viewpoint that feels inspiring!
Feng Shui principles and insights are the catalyst to move us from these intense low-vibration descriptive words and feelings to where our hearts and souls desire us to be—in a state of high-vibration such as liberated, expansive, loving, patient, compassionate, and thriving…just to name a few.
During a feng shui consultation, we typically start with your Chinese natal astrology chart then explore your physical space. We’ll save the astrology part for another time, because now I want to share with you how profound you are in creating indicators of how well life is going for you. And that starts at home.
Your home is a treasure box of information and it’s wisdom can reveal clear direction in how you can start making real changes in your life on so many levels. So listen up!

What . is . your . home . telling . you ?
As a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner, I am invited into people’s homes for so many different reasons. Sometimes there has been a family crisis, sometimes it’s preparing a new home for residency or clearing an old home of it’s stagnant energy, sometimes a fresh perspective is what the family needs, and it’s always because the family wants more for themselves.
Being able to assess the seen and unseen energies of a home and its occupants is a unique experience and when you are open to that kind of conversation you will never see things the same. You will have a new-found appreciation for your home – which is a living breathing consciousness. You will make better choices in how you treat the rooms and spaces in your home, because you will know which of the 9 Life Aspects each represents. For instance, you may have a cluttered or neglected room that we discover is occupying the North sector (compass direction) of your home. In feng shui, the North symbolizes your Career and Life Path.
When assessing a specific space, it’s important to note the rooms contents, the flow, what the function of the room is, the condition of the space and it’s contents, as well as who occupies the space. Is the path in this room blocked, is the window dirty so you can’t see clearly, are there things that need to be fixed that are draining your resources? Your physical environment reveals indicators of how this area of your life (in this example, your Life Path and Career) are going. In other words, if you were to write a description of this room, in your North sector, it’s quite possible that it could be read as a description about your Career or Life Path. Is it telling the story you want?
When you walk through your home and visit each of the rooms in it, what is the story your home is telling about your life? What if you have a room that doesn’t feel good to you? Or it’s your favorite room?! Above we talked about the Career and Life Path sector—what if that room you don’t like is your Marriage sector, or represents one of the other seven life aspects; Family and Ancestors, Money and Abundance, Health, Spirit Life and Travel, Children and Creativity, Higher-learning and Self-cultivation, or your Reputation and Social Life?
Can you even imagine what your home has to say about all of these areas of your life? Can you even imagine how life could change if you approached these physical spaces through the lense of feng shui and gave them the attention they deserve?
Your home is your sacred place. It loves and protects you. Connect with your home. See it. Really see it – then listen. Tend to it’s calling and I promise you will feel the shifts in ways you’ve never imagined. All of a sudden the pay raise is offered, the communication with your loved one has clarity, the funding for that next phase in life comes through, family challenges are on the path to healing, your confidence is strong, and your ability to manifest your dreams is right in front of you.
