July 2021 is ruled by Sheep and Yin Wood energy. The Sheep is a herd animal, finding connection and comfort within this structure. There is an innate sense of nurturing, compassion and worry that comes from this connection. Left on their own, Sheep is a ball of nerves with an upset stomach and all. This month, be careful what you eat, stay active and create healthy boundaries around what you are consuming that may be toxic or not serve the growth of your soul.

Yin Wood is like an abundant garden. With a root system that is interwoven like a matrix of support. The health of this garden is dependent on many things; sun, clean water, healthy nutrient rich soil and someone to tend to those pesky bugs and weeds. Again, balance and boundaries, seems to be a key theme this month.

The world around us is a result of the conversations and beliefs we hold within us. Often I speak here in my writing and teachings in story or metaphor. Are you making the connections? Is it time to assess your garden? Are you ready to reap the rewards of a well tended to life? What are the gardens you are tending to? Do you see your child as a garden? Your partner? Your career? Community? Your Self?

We are still in the Ox year. Ox and Sheep are in a clashing stance on the Chinese zodiac wheel. We still need to be thoughtful, methodical and practical as we navigate our bodies through this physical experience. Check in . . . where are you still resisting and needing permission to just allow whatever that thing is . . . . . . to just be? Can you focus on CONTENTMENT as you tend to and water your many gardens?
. . .
